It is probably the best book of the whole series of E-myth books (entrepreneurial myth). The author Michael E. Gerber revised the original version in 2004. It’s a while ago, but the basic principles haven’t changed. What I love most about this book is the step by step approach of creating a company from scratch. His simple language is easy to follow, and everything he describes is backed by many examples from his own companies and other well-known companies. Because the book is older, some examples related to Social Media are a bit outdated, but if you understand the basics, this doesn’t matter. I found it quite refreshing. We are so bogged down by the Social Media hype that we completely forgot that business is so much more than that. A definite must-read.
