What is an entrepreneur? Have you ever wondered if you’ve got what it takes to become one? And then, when you start your own business, what market should you focus on? How do you make that decision? In this podcast, I discuss these points and explain my take on what it means to be an entrepreneur. Among many other things, I also talk about targeting the right market to make a brand.
The first question of this podcast is, “Is it better to target the biggest possible market to sell a product?”. In this part, I discuss the pros and cons of targeting both the big market, as well as the small market. You will learn how to attract customers, how to build a brand, how to figure out what people want, and the advantages of interaction with your potential customers. So, if you have just started your business, but are struggling to grow it, this podcast is for you.
The second question of this podcast is, “How do I know if I’m made to be an entrepreneur?”. In this part, I explain how I define ‘an entrepreneur’ and what it applies to. I also talk about the typical, traditional way people describe an entrepreneur and how that definition has changed over time. One of the important things you will also learn is the difference between a business owner and someone with an entrepreneurial mindset. How can you start thinking like an entrepreneur, not just in business, but in life also? Is it possible to be determined even if you are not immediately successful? Why should you always try to have an impact?
Later on, I talk about what happens when you start your own business and what is the difference between running a business and doing business. What qualities make a good business person? How can you create value? What is the relation between value and money? How does an entrepreneur see money and what purpose does it have?
I hope this podcast helps you better understand the concept of being an entrepreneur and how things work in business. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. Enjoy!
