Ready for a change?

Ready for a change?

Changes are happening all the time, how do we deal with them? Should we avoid them? Or simply accept them?

I worked for many years in IT as an employee and during that time the changes came in the form of projects coming and going or jobs change for one reason or another. For whatever reason, the changes were coming with the feeling of insecurity.

But later I understood that changes are happening all the time, the world is changing and it’s changing faster and faster. For example, people, a few generations back were used to having one job for life. Nowadays, we are used to changing the job when the project is finished. How do we cope with these changes? Should we do something about it? Or not?

What I noticed, as an effect of this, is that more people start to manage their own career or start their own business. Some are doing it out of their own initiative while others are forced to do it.

Nevertheless, I became more curious to find out what it means to run your business, be in charge of your own career or simply put: be your own boss. In any case, I think this change is for the best because it gives you more freedom and more options to choose from.

Let’s put it in another way: more people are starting their own adventure, isn’t this wonderful?
