Dropbox is one of my most used tools on a daily basis. I use it for almost everything; even my computer backups are saved on Dropbox.

Dropbox was one of the first apps of its kind when it was founded in 2008 and so far remains among the world’s most popular. It’s an easy-to-use cloud-based file storage and sync service.

It’s easy to set up – you only need to install the Dropbox software, which automatically creates a special folder on your computer. Anything you add to this folder will be saved and synced on all your devices and also on the Dropbox website and then easily accessed anytime you need it.

Dropbox offers plenty of plans you can subscribe to for both personal and business use, such as The Family Plan, The Plus Plan, The Professional Plan, The Enterprise Plan, etc. Depending on the plan you choose, you get different storage available, but you can start off with 2GB free and then earn more space – up to 16GB by referring friends. Some people argue that one of Dropbox’s disadvantages would be its price – it’s on the more expensive side, but it’s a fair price for what it offers. You can create, edit, save and sync files, share them with other people, set custom passwords and expiration dates, and also keep a one-month history of your work, so you can go back and fix your mistakes or recover deleted files.

So, even though it’s just one of many storage services on the market nowadays, it remains the one most businesses choose, and the one I would gladly recommend to anyone. A safe, reliable workspace is something every business seeks, and Dropbox will surely keep its position at the top of the charts.
